Gus, where did your Mom find you?
My Mom adopted me from Miami-Dade Animal Services. I was a stray picked up roaming the streets. After the required five day hold, passing my health exam and being neutered, all she had to do was provide the proper documentation that proved she could have a pet where she lived and pay the fees associated with adoption. For more information on how to adopt a dog like me from Miami-Dade’s Animal Services check out www.miamidade.gov/animals.
Gus, what kind of dog are you?
Many people have their ideas about me, I’ve heard it all from Wheaton Terrier, Carin Terrier to Schnauzer… me I think I’m a good old fashioned mix. A little bit of this and a little bit of that.
Gus, what dog parks do you frequent?
During the week you’ll find me cruising Blanche Dog Park on Shipping and Virginia in Coconut Grove, but on the weekend I really love Perrine Wayside Dog Park on 160th and US-1. This park is amazing! It’s a 2.5 acre park surrounding a fresh pond where I swim and chase tadpoles. (Can’t you tell how much fun I have just by looking at my picture to your left?)
Gus, do you have any sisters or brothers?
Yes, my sister Elle is the silly cat in the box on the “Press” page.
