Meet Our Pawsome Team
Nicole Packin, UW-AAB, CCWT, SAMP
FOUNDER + CEO
Nicole’s career working with animals began in Los Angeles, California. After graduating from the University of Miami with a double major in English and Communication, Nicole moved to the West Coast to pursue a television career. While working for the William Morris Agency, Spelling Television, and Bruckheimer Television in one hour scripted series, Nicole found an outlet for stress management by volunteering for The Amanda Foundation, a non-profit organization that rescued and rehabilitated dogs from the streets of East LA.
Finding her work with dogs a life changer, Nicole moved back to Miami, Florida, intending to learn all that she could about animal welfare in her hometown. Immediately, Nicole began working for the Humane Society of Greater Miami. She was involved in all aspects of the organization’s operations, fundraising and helped lead the capital campaign for the organization’s Soffer-Fine Adoption Center in North Miami Beach, Florida.
In 2007, Miami Pet Concierge was developed and began out of both a labor of love and need. After years of working in and around the animal shelter system, Nicole learned that one of the number one reasons pets were being given up or returned was “time,” or lack thereof. With this knowledge, Nicole started a business that would help pet parents and teach pet parents how to be the best. With just a little guidance, education, and support, Nicole has had the opportunity to work hand and paw with thousands of amazing domesticated animals and their families, caring for and teaching them how to cohabitate peacefully.
Continued learning is significant to Nicole. Since MPC’s opening, she has continued to grow and learn as much as she can about animal health and proper pet care.

DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES & PUPPY TRAINING PROGRAMS
Yvonne was born in the Bronx and grew up in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Her passion for animals began at a young age, thanks to her
mother, who exposed her to all different types of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and more. In high school, Yvonne worked alongside an Old English Sheepdog breeder, where she experienced all aspects of dog rearing.
Yvonne graduated from Boston University with a degree in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Yvonne worked for the University of Miami’s Sylvester Cancer Center for over eight years as their Senior Manager of Finance before changing careers to work with domesticated pets.
In her spare time, Yvonne loves to read, go to the movies, hang out with friends and family, be by the ocean, and, most of all, spend time with her “fur-kids.” She is currently mom to Max, a Sheltie mix, and Henry, a Muppet dog – both rescued from MDAS and two cats, Sophie and Sebastian.
Julian was born in New Jersey and moved to Miami in 2004 when attending the University of Miami, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration.
Julian has a successful career as the Senior Vice President of an International Manufacturing Company. His experience and knowledge lend themselves to natural leadership and advisory roles within Miami Pet Concierge.
Julian has always been an animal lover with dogs of his own all throughout his life. He enjoys outdoor activities of all sorts, as well as kayaking in South Florida’s beautiful waterways.
Slater B Packin
CHIEF MISCHIEF MAKER
Slater was born on the streets of West Palm, Florida, and was rescued from a gas station in the wee hours of the night by a friendly police officer. He was adopted by our CEO in March 2020 after she and her husband fell in love with his photo on www.adoptapet.com.
Slater can be found in the office playing with pens, stealing straws, watching the printer, or chasing the cursor on the computer screen. When not providing laughs, he enjoys lounging in his hammock, staring out the window, and taking naps on his Momma’s desk.
Slater’s favorite things are straws, tennis balls, a magnet shaped like a llama, flip flops, playing in his water fountain, and any food with carbs!
